

Wilnara is an artist with a passion for portrait illustration; creating whimsical children's characters and graphic design; sharing creative brand solutions. She earned her BFA, in Graphic Design at Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts, and later earned her Masters, in Organizational Leadership. She began her creative career as a Graphic Designer working on print advertisements, and advertising insert programs for Gannett Newspapers. She eventually went to work for a small advertising firm in Central New Jersey before embarking on her consultant career. Wilnara has helped many start-ups and organizations build or revamp their brands while working on various commissions creating custom portraits, digital art, logos, programs, and more. She has worked within the non-profit, private, corporate and higher education sector.
She enjoys 'co-laboring' or collaborating with art directors/ clients to create brand resolutions that strengthen brands and create illustrations that evoke joy and or a little wisdom. Her creative process begins with consulting with potential clients; sketching concepts which eventually evolves into using an array of mix-media; pen and ink, watercolors, colored pencils, markers and or eventually scanning and digitally painting her masterpieces using software such as; Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or Procreate. Wilnara's illustrations can be used for promotional materials such as; corporate annual reports, logos, and or via published media; such as posters, flyers, magazines, books, educational materials, animations, video games, and films. Currently, she is working on her first children's book and is available for commissions upon request.
